With over 40 years of experience, our first skipper - Bob - has the skills and knowledge essential for a great fishing trip.  Bob holds an RYA skippers ticket, along with First Aid and Sea Survival qualifications, and has worked on or around the sea both commercially and within the leisure sector for most of his life. Our second skipper - Kelly (Bobs daughter) - recently passed the prestigious RYA Yachtmaster Offshore qualification to become Newquay Harbours first female skipper for 50 years!  She, like Bob, also holds certificates in Sea Survival and First Aid along with diving and kayaking that further enhance her knowledge of the sea.  Together, Bob and Kelly make a great team that will ensure you have a top quality day out with them!  Our boat - "The Adventuress" - is a fast "Lochin 33" with twin 318bhp turbo Volvo Penta engines.  She is MCA Cat 2 coded and insured to 60 miles offshore and is fully equipped with:    GPS navigational equipment & Radar   Colour sounder (fish finder)   VHF radio & full safety equipment (including childrens lifejackets)     Tea/Coffee making facilities   On board "tuck shop" (crisps, canned drinks, chocolate bars and bottled water available)   Flushing marine toilet   Wet weather canopy

We offer full or half day Deep Sea fishing trips on which we fish over wrecks and reefs for Pollock, Cod, Bream, Ling, Whiting, Gurnard, Wrasse, Tope and Conger Eels amongst many, many others! Or for a little taster of fishing, why not join us on one of our dedicated 2 hour Mackerel Fishing trips? All tackle and bait is provided free of charge and your catch is yours to take home at the end of the day - don't forget to bring a bag (or two!)
